This is the first of your Camp Croppin’ newsflashes that you will be receiving over the next couple of weeks. Only eight weeks to go until the start of Camp Croppin’ Calgary 2009. We wanted to send this newsflash out to all of you to let you know how excited we are that you have registered for Camp Croppin’ and we can’t wait to see you at the Carriage House Inn on April 3rd and 4th.

We just wanted to let you know that we do have a few more spots available in Camp Croppin’. If you have a few friends or family members who love to scrapbook, make sure you invite them to come camping with you. We have tons of fun activities, classes, make ‘n takes and competitions for everyone. It’s the perfect little weekend getaway!

Also, for those of you who are on facebook we have started a facebook group called Camp Croppin’. We hope that this can be a way for you to meet other people who may be attending Camp Croppin’ from your area and give you an opportunity to find other people who love to scrapbook as much as you. This will also be a place where we will update all of you on the latest and greatest things that are happening in order to get ready for Camp Croppin’. Feel free to check it out on facebook. Just search for Camp Croppin' 2009.

Website Information

To start off, we wanted to give you a little bit more information about the Camp Croppin’ website. You will find the website by going to www.scrapbookersparadise.com and clicking on the Camp Croppin’ icon. You will then be taken to the Camp Introduction Page. As the newsflashes come out, there will be a link that you will be able to click on so that you can read the newsflashes. That way if you need some information that is on the newsflash and you have deleted it from your inbox, you will have access to that information on our website. Also, please know that if you signed up your friend and used your email address for their registration, they will not receive the newsflashes, so please forward the newsflashes to them so that they can be a part of all of the excitement in getting ready for Camp Croppin’!

You will also notice that there are other links at the bottom of the page. Take the time to browse the website and learn more about our teachers, classes and hotel information.

We have been working with all of our sponsors to offer you the most fun and creative classes using the latest and greatest products and techniques that these companies have to offer. If you have not signed up to take these classes please take the time to register in them. We have all of the class descriptions as well as PICTURES on our website. You can access them by going to www.scrapbookersparadise.com/camp and clicking on the “Classes” link on the bottom of the page. Make sure you sign up by March 13th. You will NOT be disappointed!!

Just so you know, now that you are registered in Camp Croppin’ if you would like to add classes you can do so by doing the following steps:
1 – Click on the “register” link on the bottom of the homepage
2 – Enter in your Camp Croppin’ Confirmation number, email address and password (you created this at the time of registration)
3 – Click on “register for classes”

Also, as the time gets closer to Camp Croppin’, please make sure that you visit our class website to see what tools you will need to bring to your classes. You wouldn’t want to go camping without a tent, and you wouldn’t want to show up to your classes without the necessary tools! Many of our classes, this year, require you to bring your photographs, so make sure you take a look to see how many photos you will need to bring, and what sizes they need to be!

We will be posting pictures of all of the classes as we get them from our sponsors. Make sure that you go to our website to check them out. We will also be featuring a “class of the week” so that you can have more information about the classes that are not full yet and you can register before they fill up!

The Carriage House is located on Macleod Trail South. This great hotel is in the heart of the restaurant and entertainment district. It is located only 1 block away from our Scrapbooker’s Paradise South Store location!!! Only minutes away from two major shopping centers, they are also just a ten minute walk or five minute bus ride to the vein that connects the city - the LRT station. The Carriage House Inn offers 157 guestrooms, some with mountain and city views. All room reservations must be guaranteed for late arrival with a major credit card. Failure to cancel a guaranteed reservation by 4:00pm on the day of arrival or occupy the room will result in a charge of one night's room and tax applied to the credit card.
 

The Hotel's check in time is after 3:00pm and check out is by 12:00pm. Guests arriving prior to 3:00 pm will be accommodated as rooms become available. The front desk can arrange baggage check for those arriving early when rooms are not available.
