Arts - Shari Carroll - Shari joined Hero Arts in 1989 as a

as she explored and developed various techniques using inks, papers and rubber
stamps.
Known for her collage art, Shari developed the “color layering” and “color
blending” techniques for Hero Arts.
Her work has been featured in Somerset Studio, Somerset Gallery, Take Ten,
Stampers’ Sampler, The Rubber Stamper, Paper Crafts, Creating Keepsakes and
Memory Makers. She is the author of “Layers: Inspired Collage,” a 128-page book
of step-by-step projects for scrapbookers, paper crafters and rubber stamp
enthusiasts, published in 2006 by North Light Books.
Shari continues her work with Hero Arts by contributing a monthly technique
article, weekly card ideas for the web and catalog samples and designs. She
enjoys traveling and teaching stamping classes worldwide.
Shari lives in Somonauk, Illinois, with her husband Tom, sons Brooks and
Scooter, their friend Chris, and the family German shepherd, Cede.
Sandy
Holmquist
“Hi, my name is Sandy and I’m a scrap-a-holic”. Imagine the look
on my face when I was told that I would be teaching for 2 companies at Camp
Croppin’ that have been in the industry for almost as long as I have. There are
people out there that are willing to feed the addiction. I have been
scrapbooking and paper crafting since 1989.
I have been teaching for Scrapbooker’s Paradise for three years. I teach
everything from traditional scrapbooking, techniques with all the fun stuff,
card making, and digital scrapbooking and Photoshop. Oh yes, and I get paid to
do this. Imagine this….I also teach people how to color as a Copic certified
instructor. I have been published in Canadian Scrapbooker and have taken first
prize in the few design competitions that I have entered. Life is very GOOD!
Fran

Fran Seiford, owner and CEO of Stampendous, made her first $25 investment
in the craft industry when she ordered a batch of custom rubber stamps made from
her own illustrations. Her initial investment soon blossomed into a wide range
of craft tools & products to help others in their creative expression. As Fran
says, "A handmade card or craft speaks from the heart."
