Attention: American and Other Foreign Customers
Prices shown within our shopping cart are quoted in Canadian dollars. For your convenience, you may choose to convert these amounts into Estimated US Dollars. The US$ prices calculated are estimates. All orders are billed in Canadian dollars, and it is your credit card company that will calculate the actual exchange rate and charge you accordingly. Scrapbooker's Paradise cannot determine which exchange rate your credit card company will use, and therefore is unable to quote true US prices and totals.
US and foreign customers should be aware the shipped parcels can often take six to eight weeks to arrive from Canada. All orders are shipped promptly, but may be delayed clearing customs. Duty, taxes and brokerage charges may be applied to your order by your government. Please contact your government's customs officials if you require further information.
How do I shop?
Find products by selecting categories and subcategories from the main menu on the left of this page. Once you click on one of the main categories you will notice that subcategories appear, both in the menu to the left and in the main center section. You can either click on the subcategory name in the menu or else click on the picture of the subcategory that will appear in the middle of your screen. Once you find the products that you want just fill in the quantity that you would like to order and then press the "buy now" button beside that product. The product will be added to your cart (which is summarized on the far right corner of the screen). If you would like to see a larger picture of the product or read a product description the just click on the picture of the product and this information will appear.
How do I search?
There is a search form at the bottom of the main menu on the left hand side of your screen. You can search for a product by stock number, title, description or by company name. Just enter the word you wish to search in the search form and click on "search."
How do I checkout?
Review your cart by clicking on "Cart Contents" in the top right of the screen. This page will tell you how many of each product are in the cart. You can also add to or remove items from your cart.
When you are done shopping, click on the "Check Out" button. If you have not shopped with us before, you will be guided through setting up an account with us. Once you have an account, you can proceed checking out. Enter the requested information, including credit card numbers if you're paying with one, and click "Confirm Order." Your order will be sent to us and a confirmation message will be sent to the e-mail address you supply.
How do I pay for my order?
Scrapbooker's Paradise accepts Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. You may fax your order or send it through the secure shopping cart program online. You may also print the checkout page WITHOUT CLICKING "CONFIRM ORDER" and mail or fax it in. The address and phone number is on the main page.
Is it safe to use my credit card?
Yes, this shopping cart uses SSL encryption on the checkout page and is certified through securesites.com.
How are shipping charges calculated?
Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight of the parcel and your location, $5.00 minimum in Canada; orders destined for Labrador, Nuunavat, Yukon, NWT, the United States and abroad, will be charged the actual shipping amount. Non-Canadian customers may be required by their government to pay additional duty or brokerage charges. Please see our Shipping and Returns Policy for much more detail.
How long does my shopping cart last?
If you have an account and are logged in, your cart will last indefinitely. You may leave the site and return on another day and the contents of your shopping cart will remain. If you do not have an account, you can create one by clicking on "My Account" at the top of the screen and following the directions there. If you do not create an account, your shopping cart will not be preserved for your next visit.
How do I print the entire catalog?
Click on the "Printable Catalog" link in the information box in the lower left. It will give you the entire current catalog, divided into 1,000-product sections. You can print this, or copy and paste pieces of it into your text editor.
What if there is a problem with my order?
At Scrapbooker's Paradise we do our best to provide you with the most reliable and up to date information. In the event that an error does occur, we reserve the right to correct or cancel an order at any time, and/or edit an order to reflect the correction, and/or correct the error on our website. In the event that you are shipped an incorrect product, please contact us and we will issue a return authorization number and give you directions on how to ship the product back to us.
