FUN WITH WATERCOLOURS, DYE INKS & MORE

Come willing to play and join Karyn for another amazing technique class where you will learn all about watercolours, dye inks, and Perfect Pearls. A series of cards will be made using resist inks, brayering, rainbow ink pads, watercolour pencils and markers, Perfect Pearls mica powders and more. RUBBER STAMPING BASICS

Rubber stamps are the perfect tool for both card-makers and scrapbookers, and this class is ideal for beginners wanting to get started. You will be introduced to the different inks and stamps currently available, and learn ways in which to colour your stamped images using a variety of great products.

EXCITEMENT WITH ALCOHOL INKS

Those magic little bottles by Ranger hold more fun and creativity than you can imagine! In this fun-filled evening be prepared to get a little ink on your fingers as Karyn shows you how to create the look of stained glass on acetate, “smoosh” glossy paper into a puddle of inks to create a unique background, produce a beautiful faux polished-stone look, and custom-colour accents to suit your every whim and project.

Classes are provided by Scrapbooker’s Paradise, your teachers, and independent teachers from the community. All supplies are included for all classes in the material fee unless requested by the teacher. Please bring your own scissors, adhesives and personal trimmers to the classes, except for Basics classes. All projects for classes are on display in the store. Please be sure to take Scrapbooking Basics before signing up for the more detailed classes, as these classes tend to run at a much faster pace then a basics or beginner class.

PLEASE NOTE: Some class projects may vary in color, style and products used, as teachers always strive to incorporate the newest products into their classes. Additional product may be required to complete a project, but a list will be provided to you upon enrolment. We ask that no babies or children under the age of 8 be in attendance at classes. All cell phone users are to be considerate of the teacher and fellow students, so please put your cell on vibrate and then step out of the room to make or take a call.

CLASS POLICIES
After the seasonal sign-up event you may reserve a place in any class that still has availability over the phone with a VISA, Mastercard of American Express credit card, or in person. Classes may be cancelled due to a lack of size, in which case a full refund will be given. Children under the age of 8 are not allowed in the classroom. Children ages 8 – 14 may attend classes if accompanied by an adult, and the class fees are paid. If the adult wishes to complete the project as well, then a spot must be reserved for them as well. PLEASE NOTE: Paid class spaces are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another person should you be unable to attend.
