Make it easy! Make it fun! Make it fast! Our Scrapbook Basics class proves
that anyone can scrapbook. Let us show you how, with the right tools and
supplies, you can get started on your first album with confidence. In the
class you will learn photo storage tips and scrapbooking terminology while
you create a 12x12” layout using the industry’s finest tools and supplies.

RUBBER STAMPING BASICS
If you have never put ink to paper before, then this is the class for you!
Rubber stamps are the perfect tool for both card-makers and scrapbookers,
and this class is ideal for beginners wanting to get started. You will be
introduced to the different inks and stamps currently available, and learn
ways in which to colour your stamped images using a variety of great
products.

BASICS

what to do with it or worried you're not reaching its full potential? Come
join us for this informative Cricut class and let us teach you all the
wonderful things this powerful little machine can do! Bring your Cricut and
George Cartridge to class and have a real hands-on learning experience as
you create some delightful projects. Don't have a Cricut? Don't worry! Come
and use our machine and George Cartridge and truly "try before you buy” -
just let us know when you are signing up that you don’t have your own

FOTO FRENZY
This is the perfect opportunity to catch up on your scrapbooking and enjoy
six hours of non-stop creativity! Bring your photos and favourite tools and
join in the fun. During the evening, a full page project will be taught by
one of our expert instructors, giving you a chance to sample our latest
products and learn some new techniques. The store is also open exclusively
for class members in the evening classes for some late-night shopping!

DIGITAL CLASSES
HERITAGE MAKERS

Come
to our FREE class to learn the hottest new technique in digital
scrapbooking- making Photobooks! We will show you how to create Photobooks,
calendars, playing cards and more using the easy Heritage Makers system.
This simple drag and drop system is fast to learn, provides endless
creativity and projects can be created anywhere you have internet access.
Photobooks are the perfect way to scrapbook when you are pressed for time,
have lots of copies of items you want to do or just want to learn a fun new
"tool" to use for some of your scrapbook pages. Come learn what the
excitement is all about. All class participants receive a FREE Heritage
Makers account as well as a Free Family Fold project to work on. During this
session we will talk about preserving your digital photos, explore the
Heritage Makers system and show you fun ways to create easy books using
templates or starting from scratch. We will also talk about various other
items that you can make including calendars, playing cards, invitations,
greeting cards and more, all using the fun, easy to learn Heritage Makers
system.

MEMORY MIXER

create your pages from scratch with this versatile program. Incorporate your
own special style by embedding video clips and hidden hotspot areas and post
your work as slide shows on your blog, Facebook site or anywhere on the web.

local printer with the various printing options available.

CARDS

ATC WORKSHOP & BUFFET

and then you will choose supplies from the “buffet” of fun papers, cards,
stamps and embellishments provided to make some more! A short introduction
to ATCs will be provided to those new to this fun hobby!

Free Style Frenzy!
A NEW concept in Scraplifting
Come to one of our new Free Style Frenzies and enjoy the freedom to explore your creativity (even if you don’t think you have any!) You will still have the opportunity to work on your own pages, as usual, with an instructor on hand to answer your questions, but the surprise comes in the evening’s project!
Unlike a traditional frenzy where everyone makes the same class project, at our Free Style Frenzies, you will enjoy the freedom to develop your own page based on a design from the experts. Enjoy the freedom to interpret what the experts have already done, and make the headache of design disappear! This means having more fun with your photos and less time trying to create the perfect layout…. What could be better?
So how does it work? At our Free Style Frenzy everyone will receive a copy of a layout sketch and the instructor will display a finished two-page layout based on that sketch. You then get to make the layout your own by choosing your own colours of cardstock and patterned paper – at no charge – chosen to suit your photos perfectly. The instructor for the evening will tell you how many patterned papers and how many cardstocks you need to choose to make the layout, and, if you need it, will help you select the perfect colours for your own photos. It doesn’t get easier than that!
We will even provide a selection of fun embellishments for you to choose from to add the finishing touches to your pages! You can also add any other techniques and embellishments you wish from your own stash of supplies, or shop for some of the great new products in the store. This makes creating expert pages a snap – we provide the design and the ideas – you add the personal flair!
Free Style Frenzies are offered in addition to our regular Frenzies. So round up your friends and come and be creative together! This is an excellent opportunity for both new scrapbookers wanting to learn more about layout design and the seasoned ones looking for a fresh approach to their scrapbooking!
