Have you ever had a hard time finding a card for a male? Well we have the
solution as we use the new stamps from Local King Rubber Stamps from Vancouver.
Does an African sunset with a bold and beautiful elephant interest you? Learn
how to colour on a Canada Goose stamp with the exciting *new to our store*
Tombow markers. Dianne can’t wait to share her new techniques with you! Alcohol
inks will be used to create the background for the ‘hooting owl’. Working with
distress inks, metal, embossing and colouring are all part of the techniques
that you will learn. If you love nature you will love this class!

making Personalized Valentine Candy Holders. Learn how to make these Valentines
and then you will have the opportunity to buy kits which will allow you to make
up to 25 more.

Beyond Measure

Its time to learn some more scrapbooking techniques and this layout is designed
to do just that in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Come learn how to use your
modest paper trimmer to its maximum potential while practicing matting and
layering techniques. We will then use stickers and flowers to add dimension and
practice some of the design principles we learned in basics classes. Then you'll
add some finishing touches by altering some chipboard and a Prima flower to suit
the layout. Voila, a beautiful layout that will be the centerpiece of your
living area while you show off all that you have learned!

be creating a photo frame, bookmark and a very sweet - any occasion - card. In
this class we will be using the Copic Airbrush system to colour flowers, ribbon
and to create a fabulous background design. Come enjoy an afternoon of Copic
fun. Only 12 markers required!

Crazy for Copics!

Forget about your worries and spend a whole evening/afternoon colouring! Bring
your Copic markers and your images to colour, and enjoy an evening/afternoon of
colouring along with your fellow Copic fans. Sandra and Lisa are Intermediate
Certified Copic Designers and will be on hand to give you advice for your
project, answer any questions you may have, or help you brush up on your
technique. During this open format class, you’ll get tried and true colour
combination tips to add interest to your images. You can even use the airbrush
compressor to make custom backgrounds or alter your embellishments. Schedule in
some dedicated colouring time and feel the stress melt away!

Gloria is at it again! She brings her signature
style to a masculine project that you won’t be
able to resist. This sprocket and gear themed
mini album will focus on various techniques to
alter chipboard gears to create several unique
looks. Come prepared to lose your inhibition as
you learn to layer, tear, ink, grunge, emboss
and stamp in new ways. As an added bonus Gloria
will let you select your own title to further
personalize your album.

Copics 101: Colour Your World

Copic Markers are alcohol-based markers that blend beautifully and have been
around for over 30 years. In this class you will learn the wonders of these
markers and the basic blending and shading techniques. You will feel like you’re
in Kindergarten again and wonder why you ever grew up. You will be pleased to
know that Sandra holds her Copic Intermediate Designer Certification. This
designation shows her commitment to continued knowledge in the proper techniques
for using and teaching you about everything Copic. This class is a pre-requisite
for our advanced project-based Copic Classes.

evening! Bring your dinner with you or find it at any one of the nearby
restaurants. We will provide snacks to keep your energy up. As an added bonus,
we will let you use all of our Tim Holtz Sizzix dies. And yet another bonus...
we will guide you through a make and take type project to help get your creative

101 - Revamped!

This class project has been revamped for a fresh look but you will still learn
all the same great tips. Do you have a Cuttlebug and have not been using it to
it’s full potential? Join us for this class and learn the versatility of this
handy little machine. You will find yourself making use of your Cuttlebug for
all of your projects, big or small! In this hands-on class you will be making
your very own ‘recipe’ book of techniques to take home and refer to again and

Expressions Basics

Did you receive a new Cricut Expression for Christmas or do you have one
collecting dust in your scrap room? Do all those dials and buttons intimidate
you? Come join Holly and create samples using the amazing features of this great
machine. We will play with cricut pens and learn how to cut your photos using
the center point button. When we are finished you will have all your samples and
notes in a reference book to take home and refer back to.

This versatile chalkboard wall hanging promises to be a ton of fun to make. You
will be introduced to the extremely popular art of mixed media and altered
projects when we use this burlap panel base with various art mediums to get the
look we desire. You will be experimenting and playing with various materials
such as laser-cut wood, kraft paper, canvas, metal, cork and paper flowers to
create textural interest and visual appeal and after all that, you will be able
to go home and tell all your friends that you have mastered resist techniques
and canvas transfers as well! Don't wear your Sunday best for this one.

We will turn this class into a creative playroom! Using the new Local King
Rubber Stamps we will create 3 fun cards with NATURE as the theme. Geckos, owls
and husky dog stamps are used. Ever wonder how to use a brayer and Kaleidoscope
ink pad? Stunning colours are the result. So many techniques - so little time!
Stencils, stains, UTEE and learning the art of masking will result in cards that
