Calendar/Layout of the
Month Club
Capture your memories each month with a seasonal layout,
learn new techniques and have all the makings for a
scrapbooked calendar by the end of the year. In
February, a cozy layout full of homespun touches
celebrates all that you love.
Note: Calendar club runs on the 3rd Tuesday of each
month. Layouts and instructions will be available for
both 12 x 12" and 8 1/2 x 11" formats.

Rubber Stamping
Basics
If you have never put ink to paper before, then this is
the class for you! Rubber stamps are the perfect tool
for both card makers and scrapbookers alike, and this
class is ideal for beginners wanting to get started. You
will be introduced to the different inks and stamps
currently available, and learn ways in which to color
your stamped images using a variety of great products.

You

box...well, in this class you will be making a funky and

powder and stamps).

Calgary North Store has been Spring-Cleaning!
With the
warmer weather just around the corner (and there are
buds starting to show on the trees!) we at the North
Store have been busy getting ready for the Spring rush!
Come and see our totally reorganized Stamping Section –
we have hundreds of gorgeous stamps on display as well
as all the goodies that go with them: embossing powders,
inks, paints, cleaners, sprays - there’s something for
everyone here.
Also,
don’t forget to visit our new “Dimensionals” aisle,
where you can find a multitude of 3-D items to alter,
from Maya Road’s delicious little chipboard albums to EK
Success’s Art Blanche fabulous range of tins.
Classes
at the North Store also continue to be popular, and
there are still some spaces left for those keen to try
out some new products and techniques. Come past the
store and let our friendly staff members recommend the
perfect class for you. Our teachers are already busy
planning a whole new range of classes for the April, May
and June months, so watch this space for more news on
our “Spring Fling” Sign-Up Event on Saturday 15 March.
All projects will be on display for viewing from Monday
3 March 2008.
Scrapbooking technology also continues to forge ahead:
the new Cricut Design cartridges are in, and are too
gorgeous for words. We also have a wonderful range of
digital software and magazines for those more
comfortable with a computer mouse than an adhesive tape
runner, and for those who like to use both, “fusion
scrapbooking” is becoming the name of the game! But
whatever your level, whatever your field of interest, we
at the North Store look forward to seeing you soon!
And in
celebration of the end of Winter, Saturday 23 February
is our “Beach Party” event! Running all day, there are
special discounts, door prizes and goodies for everyone
