SCRAPBOOK BASICS

Make it easy! Make it fun! Make it fast! Our Scrapbook basics class proves that anyone can scrapbook. Let us show you how, with the right tools and supplies, you can get started on your first album with confidence. In the class you will learn photo storage tips and scrapbooking terminology while you create a 12 x 12 layout using the industry’s finest tools and supplies.

FANCY FEMALES

“SPRINGTIME”

RUBBER STAMPING BASICS

If you have never put ink to paper before, then this is the class for you! Rubber stamps are the perfect tool for both card makers and scrapbookers alike, and this class is ideal for beginners wanting to get started. You will be introduced to the different inks and stamps currently available, and learn ways in with to colour your stamped images using a variety of great products. Learn how to make cards and use stamps in your scrapbook.

CALENDAR CLUB

Capture your memories each month with a seasonal layout, learn new techniques and have all the makings for a scrapbooked calendar by the end of the year. In May you will learn how to mask.
Note: Calendar club runs on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Layouts and instructions will be available for both 12 x 12 and 8 ½ x 11 formats.

SPINNER “WHEEL” CARDS

These wonderful wheel cards are so much fun. Each time you turn the spinner… surprise… a new message will appear in the window. Use a variety of techniques to make all three cards. You’ll have as much fun “spinning”, you will want to create many more for a variety of occasions. All patterns included.

JUST ME ALBUM

FLYING HIGH BUTTERFLY

SUNSHINE VELLUM WINDOW CARDS
Instructor: Wendy
These bright little cards are like a ray of Sunshine. The vellum “window” lets in the light like sunshine coming through a window. Cards are stamped and outlined using a versamark pad and pen and heat embossed with shiny black embossing powder. Flowers are filled in using watercolour markers. With fun and happy sayings, you can send them for any occasion.

IT’S A SNAP

FOTO FRENZY

Ever wanted to share your artistic flair with other scrapbookers, but was unsure how? Come to this frenzy prepared to trade…Artistic Trading Cards (ATC). Just like hockey cards (except better) make some ATC for trading and learn what they are all about. You’ll be sure to add these beautiful cards to your layouts or cards for flair or hidden journaling. You’ll also be spending 6 hours with friends to scrapbook and shop.

Please note: Paid class spaces are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person should you be unable to attend. Project supplies may vary from the sample as our teachers strive to utilize the latest and greatest products.

Classes are provided by Scrapbooker’s Paradise, your teachers, and independent teachers from the community. All supplies are included for all classes in the material fee unless requested by the teacher. Please bring your own scissors, adhesives and personal trimmers to the classes, except for Basics classes. All projects for classes are on display in the store. Please be sure to take Scrapbooking Basics before signing up for the more detailed classes, as these classes tend to run at a much faster pace then a basics or beginner class.

PLEASE NOTE: Some class projects may vary in color, style and products used, as teachers always strive to incorporate the newest products into their classes. Additional product may be required to complete a project, but a list will be provided to you upon enrolment. We ask that no babies or children under the age of 8 be in attendance at classes. All cell phone users are to be considerate of the teacher and fellow students, so please put your cell on vibrate and then step out of the room to make or take a call.

CLASS POLICIES
After the seasonal sign-up event you may reserve a place in any class that still has availability over the phone with a VISA, Mastercard or American Express credit card or in person. Classes may be cancelled due to lack of size, in which case a full refund will be given. Children under the age of 8 are not allowed in the classroom. Children ages 8 – 14 may attend classes if accompanied with an adult, and the class fees are paid. If the adult wishes to complete the project as well, then a spot must be reserved for them as well. PLEASE NOTE: Paid class spaces are non-refundable, but may be transferred to another person should you be unable to attend.
